    Day 1

    Viet Hai Village - Cycling

    2 stops
  • 1
    Viet Hai Village

Viet Hai lays nestled on the eastern side of Cat Ba and is inaccessible by road from the rest of the island. The 300-person village was founded before the designation of Cat Ba National Park, and thus parts of the village still remain within the park, which makes for a uniquely beautiful setting. Due to its remote location, Viet Hai has retained a traditional atmosphere and way of life with minimal interference from the modern world. 14:30 - 16:30 You can explore the majestic landscapes and the simple life of local villagers by going cycling, walking, or by electric car. You will also visit ancient houses and experience a fish pond foot massage.

This is the perfect time for you to enjoy Happy Hour (buy 1 get 1 free from 17:30 to 18:30) and cooking class on the notable Vietnamese dish while being serenaded by a live music performance by the Philippines band at Sundeck or Piano Lounge. 19:00 - 22:00 Set dinner served in La Espacia Restaurant. 21:30 - 23:00 Join squid fishing at the back of the boat or enjoy fantastic movies with our large screen in Le Piano Lounge.

    Dark & Light Cave

So-called for the contrasting levels of light that they permit into the grottos (these caves are also called Day and Night Cave), the Dark and Bright Caves rest on the water. This makes them only accessible by one- or two-person kayak that you can captain yourself, or a traditional bamboo rowboat with a local at the helm. These caves only see a fraction of the visitors of the more popular alternatives in Halong Bay, making for a more wild and unexplored experience. You can either glide through its captivating passages in a kayak or enjoy a tranquil bamboo boat ride, guided by locals. This unique location acts as a gateway to a serene lake, enclosed by walls of stones in various shapes and sizes.

    45 minutes Admission ticket included
