Cycle alongside the emblematic lakes, Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde, visit the viewpoints of Lagoa de Santiago, Lagoa Rasa, Vista do Rei, and enjoy a thrilling ride along Cumeeira Pequena. Breathe in the fresh air of this wonderful place as you pass through dirt roads, trails, and parks with flora and fauna, and get to know some of the typical geology of this region. Visit this picturesque village and witness its local culture and traditions!

Meeting and pickup
The transfer service (pick-up and drop-off) can be booked if available. Consider this for the city of Ponta Delgada (for other areas, please contact us). Pick-up will be provided at or close to the place of your accommodation. When the activity is over, we will drop you off at the same place. Approximate pick-up times between 8:30 and 8:50 am. Please contact us to schedule the exact pick-up time and place.
Please consider meeting place on the left side of the soccer field in Sete Cidades (you will find near to the lake a little parking lot and will see there the guide).

At the starting point, we conduct a safety briefing and a demonstration of how to use the electric bicycle and all its functions, which takes about 15 minutes, and then distribute the equipment. Once we finish, we are ready to embark on a memorable adventure!

We will across over the bridge that divides the Blue and the Green lakes, and enjoy the lakeside view going to the Peninsula and the peaceful picnic area of Baía do Silencio (“Bay of Silence“).

Heading back to the bridge along easy dirt tracks, get ready for a long and steep ascent on the main road, along which you can stop at the viewpoints of Lagoa de Santiago (“Santiago Lagoon“).

Stop in the viewpoint Cerrado das Freiras (“Nuns Haven”).

Continue onwards and upwards, till finally reaching the Viewpoint of Vista do Rei (“Kings’ View“) for a panoramic view of the Blue and Green Lakes below as well as the now-abandoned “Monte Palace” hotel.

Then, a more adventurous trail that takes us along along Cumeeira Pequena (“Small Summit Rim“) until we reaching the viewpoint.

(Pass by)
Passing the Lomba do Vasco Viewpoint we will finish the tour descending to the heart of the village of Sete Cidades, passing by the Church São Nicolau, leading us back to the start point.
