Step out of Memphis and into the town where Elvis Presley’s story began. On this premium day trip, you’ll travel from Memphis to Tupelo in a private SUV and explore the childhood homes, schools, churches, and neighborhoods that shaped young Elvis.
Your day begins at the Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum, where guests purchase their own entry tickets upon arrival. Explore the birthplace house, childhood church, Walk of Life Trail, museum exhibits, and the moving “Elvis at 13” statue at your own pace.
Next, enjoy lunch at Johnnie’s Drive-In, one of Elvis’s favorite Tupelo hangouts—home of the famous dough burger and the original Elvis Booth (first-come, first-served).
After lunch, your guide leads a curated driving tour of Tupelo’s hidden gems: Tupelo Hardware Company (where Elvis got his first guitar), Lawhon School, Milam Junior High, Fairpark, and the Homecoming Statue.
