The coastal city Essaouira or the city of the wind, offers you many possibilities of discovery and meets all your cultural, artistic and sporting desires. Enjoy a two and a half hour drive through argan crops and arid landscapes. You will come across families of goats perched on the argan trees.
You will have the opportunity to visit a cooperative of women who produce Argan oil. Then set off to explore the fishing port of Essaouira. Cross the old medina with its Souks and its traditional market. You will discover art galleries and authentic carpentry workshops.
Similarly, explore the ramparts and gates of Essaouira, as well as its Borj and military buildings, including the sqala of the kasbah and the sqala of the port: the two main fortifications of the city. Do not miss, above all, admiring a Souiri tajine or a superb fish dish in a restaurant by the sea, before returning to Marrakech.

Argan oil is a plant oil produced from the kernels of the argan tree ARGANIA SPINOSA , which is indigenous to Morocco . In Morocco, argan oil is used to dip bread in at breakfast or to drizzle on couscous or pasta. It is also used for cosmetic purposes . On this trip you will have the chance to discover the Berber women cooperative producing Argan products ( the main area industry ) , and learn so many thing about it , you van also take pictures to the women , the products and the traditional material that they use . The visit is free . and no one can bother or push you to buy something . it's simply a part of the culture of this area .
