How to find our office: When you're in the city center (Kutaisi) at the central square with a big fountain, find a theater building. When you are facing it, head right, turn left and go straight. You'll get at the "Newport" hotel. There is a police building and our travel agency is next to it.

    Arrival in Tbilisi or Kutaisi International Airport. Meeting at the Airport, free transfer and accommodation in a hotel, Tbilisi. Free time. In the evening you will have welcome dinner in the Georgian National Restaurant with delicious Georgian wine accompanied with Georgian traditional songs. After dinner - Overnight in the hotel in Tbilisi.

    2nd day. Tour in Mtskheta + Tbilisi

    Mtskheta

    Breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast, departure to Mtskheta - one of the oldest cities in Georgia. We will visit monasteries and cathedrals, which are significant monuments of Christian architecture in Georgia. Svetitskhoveli is the patriarchal cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church, which for thousands of years has been the main cathedral of all Georgia. It is listed as a World Heritage Site. Samtavro Monastery - built in the 4th century by King Mirian. Jvari Monastery - according to the perfection of architectural forms, it is one of the masterpieces of architecture and the first World Heritage monument in Georgia. Here the two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari connect. Here in Mtskheta, we will visit local Georgian family and taste different Georgian wine and Georgian vodka „Chacha”, learn the history of grape culture and winemaking. Here you will find the masterclasses of Georgian cuisine and have dinner with tasty Georgian dishes.

    Tbilisi

    After Mtskheta, we will have an excursion in Tbilisi. During the tour we will visit the old part of the city – Narikala (the fortress complex in Old Tbilisi, with a bastion of which opens a panorama of the city of Tbilisi). We will visit the Sameba Cathedral - built in our time and being the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Also, we will visit Metekhi (XIII century), Anchiskhati (VI century), Sioni (XII century). We will visit the famous sulfur baths in Abanotubani. We will walk along the streets of Chardin and Leselidze with numerous restaurants, cafes, boutiques and salons. You will have the opportunity to stop and spend time with a cup of coffee or tea with Georgian sweets. We will visit a wine shop and have a wine degustation during the tour.

    3rd day. Tour in the "Homeland of Wine" - Kakheti

    After breakfast, Tour in the "Homeland of Wine" - Kakheti. First stop is Sighnaghi - one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Kakheti, referred to as a "city of love."

    Next stop is Bodbe and the ancient monastery of St. Nino (IX-XVIII centuries).

    Further to the city of Gurjaani, famous for its wineries. We will visit to the old local wine cellar of the XVII-XVIII centuries, where you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the ancient traditions of winemaking, participate in the process and try homemade wine. You will also take part in the preparation of churchkhela - a traditional delicacy made from nuts, almonds or raisins. Here you will have dinner and you can enjoy unique local dishes.

    After dinner, we are going to visit the castle of the famous Georgian writer of the XIX century, Prince Alexander Chavchavadze in Tsinandali, where you can take a walk in the beautiful garden, visit the winery and taste the local wine. Return to Tbilisi.

    4th day. Ananuri - Gudauri - Stepantsminda

    Zhinvali Water Reservoir

    On the way to Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) the first stop and attraction is - Zhinvali reservoir. We stay there for about 20 minutes, take photos and continue the trip.

    Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble

    Our second stop is the ancient castle complex Ananuri (XVI-XVIII centuries) on the Georgian military road, at the beginning of Zhinvali reservoir, at 900 meters above sea level. The buildings included in the complex are: upper and lower fortress, fence, towers, Church of the Mother of God, Church of the Deity, “Mkurnali” Church, bell tower, octagonal cell and reservoirs;

    Stepantsminda

    Arrival in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda). We will visit the Temple of the Holy Trinity (Tsminda Sameba) - cross-domed temple, built in the XIV century. It is located high on the mountain, at an altitude of 2,170 m at the foot of Mkinvartsveri Mountain (5,047 m), along the Georgian Military Road over the village of Gergeti. To get to the mountain, where the Church of the Holy Trinity is located, we must rent local jeeps (Additional 10 euros per person). For dinner, we invite you to a Georgian hospitable family, where you will also take part in the preparation of the branded Georgian dish Khinkali. Return to Tbilisi.
