Experience true walking safari in northern Botswana – Okavango delta (including mainly Moremi, Linyanti, Savuti, Kwai) and Chobe. Join us in Botswana’s famous elephants areas as we follow the herds of wise old elephants on their long route.

Sharing Okavango and Chobe on an equal footing with its elephants surely overshadows any previous game viewing experiences you might have in your life, and of course we will encounter other wildlife on foot like lions, giraffes, zebras and wildebeest, as well as the 450+ birds species.

If you arrive in at Maun international airport, that's when you will start from Kazikini - going north, as described in this itinerary. If you arrive in from Zambia or Zimbabwe, then you will start from the opposite direction at Mwandi view camp along the Chobe river front. In the point of arrival, you are welcomed by your expedition safari guide. He will provide you with nice smile, cool face towels and chilled drinking water for each guest. The expedition guide will brief you about where you will be heading next for your experience in the bush, but before that you will have to drive around the town to buy personal things you did not bring from home, like sunglasses, sunblock and so on, then drive to your first destination.

At 3:30 pm, all guests shall meet at the main lodge for high tea, then head out for a nature drive to explore the afternoon. Dinner is served between 7:00/7:30 pm, after dinner all guests sit at a fireplace to get the briefing about the following day. This will be your time to interact with other guests and stuff in camp and have drinks of your own choices, then retire to bed. The following morning all guests will be waked up at 05:00 am, and walk to the front at 05:30 for full English breakfast. Guests will go out for a walking safari at 06:00 am. Remember - the mission for this safari is to first find the track of a well grown elephant, identify the track and follow it, until you locate or find the elephant. The guide or photo host will explain all the necessary angles on where to take a picture at. The main idea is to find the subject, which is the elephant, take pictures, and leave the sighting without the elephant would ever realize that you were there. You will start very early in the morning to use the golden light of that morning, when it is still soft, and head back to camp just before it get very hot. After branch, all guests will be provided with water for shower. High tea is going to be served at 3:30 pm, then you’ll go out for a nature drive with a safari Jeep to explore the afternoon and look out for more animals, birds, and beautiful landscapes.
