This 5-day safari visits the Masai Mara Game Reserve, lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha to see the Big Five as well as other spectacular wildlife. Finish your safari with a visit to the green crater lake walk Park located in Lake Naivasha, one of the most beautiful parks in Kenya, where you enjoy walking with the animals up close. You can join this safari as a single traveller, a couple or a group.

    Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

    Hell's Gate National Park

    Pick up from the airport or hotel and drive to Lake Naivasha with a stopover at Great Rift valley escarpment for 20-30 mins. After that we proceed with a stop at Hell's Gate National, the park, which is mainly, comprised of the Savannah ecosystem harbors a wide variety of wildlife including birds like; vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard, swifts. Wildlife includes; African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle, and baboons are also common. The park is also home to the klipspringer antelope. Later Evening, you can have an optional boat ride at blue-lake Naivasha (optional).

    After breakfast, we then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, the Park is famous for its millions of pink flamingoes lining on the lakeshore. The Park is also Sanctuary to the Black Rhino, White Rhino, and the Rothschild Giraffe. Birdlife includes common species like the lesser and Greater Flamingoes, African fish Eagle, Tawny Eagle, Green Wood Hoopoes, Cliff Chat, Great White and Pink Backed Pelicans plus other intra- African Migrants. Arrive in time for lunch and check-in your Lodge. Proceed for an afternoon game drive in this park that has a dense population of other wildlife before returning back to Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

    After Breakfast we depart to Masai Mara Game Reserve, the landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers thus been one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

    Spend another full day in Masai Mara with unlimited game drives in the Reserve exploring the park in search of the big 5 – Optional balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 475 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at overnight stay at Mara Sentrim lodge. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes, and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vultures.

    Another extended morning game drive in Masai Mara. Return back to the camp for late breakfast. We depart Mara for the return journey back to Nairobi with en-route lunches. Safari ends in Nairobi at approximately 1530 hrs. Drop off your hotel or airport.
