    Skun Spider Sanctuary

    You’ll find street stalls and markets selling fried spiders, crickets, larvae, and various insects. Some vendors also have live insects.

    This is an archaeological site (pre-Angkorian) in Kampong Thom province. It’s known for its temple ruins set in forested surroundings. As part of your trip, include time to walk around the ruins, see the ancient brick temples, and enjoy the forested ambiance.

    Kampong Kdei is famous for an ancient bridge — the “Kampong Kdei Bridge” (part of the old Khmer roads). Walking over the bridge, viewing the river, local life, and possibly nearby villages is rewarding.
