Sapa was a frontier township and capital of the former Sa Pa District in Lào Cai Province in northwest Vietnam. It is well-known for the beautiful landscape that makes it one of the favorite tourist spots for travelers from all over the world. Sapa sits at the heart of Vietnam’s northern highlands and is a popular base for trekking to the region’s ethnic minority villages. With this tour, travel by sleeper bus from Hanoi and spend a night at a hotel in the sapa town. Two different day treks with lunch at a local restaurant; visit the villages of Cat Cat, Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, and Ta Van, and admire magnificent views over the lush hills and rice terraces.

13:00: Arrive at Sapa town and be amazed by the colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, and Tay ethnic people. Enjoy welcome drinks and itinerary briefing. Then, have lunch with local Vietnamese dishes before the hotel check-in. 14:30: Start hiking downhill to Cat Cat Village at the bottom of Muong Hoa Valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards Fansipan – the highest peak in Vietnam and Indochina. Upon arrival at the village, you will have a chance to visit the Black H’mong’s traditional stilt houses as well as watch people weaving, embroidering, and drying their clothes, etc. Then, keep walking to visit the dramatic and picturesque Cat Cat Waterfall, which is a great spot for photo shoots.
Back to hotel by van and fresh up before dinner. You'll have dinner and then you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night. Overnight in Hotel in Sapa.
Have breakfast at the hotel. Then start trekking from Sapa towards another part of Muong Hoa Valley where you can see the magnificent landscapes of the mountainous region. Trek through Y Linh Ho, the village of the Black Hmong. Located about 7km to the southwest of Sapa Town, alongside Muong Hoa River, Y Linh Ho is a small commune composed of a dozen small hamlets scattered on the harsh mountain terrain with high and steep mountains. Offering spectacular landscapes and cultural experiences, Y Linh Ho Village is one neighborhood village that you don’t want to miss during your trip to Sapa.
Continue trekking down to Lao Chai village of the H’mong. Lao Chai village is 6 km far from the center of town, you will see Lao Chai village where the black H’mong people live, it is also the beginning of a valley which is called Muong Hoa Valley. From a high point of the main road 8 Km from Sapa town, a great view of the whole village opens wide to offer the marvelous panorama of the village, backed by high mountains and facing the river.
Then keep walking through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people. It gives you a chance for you to learn about the local house architecture which is full of their daily lifestyles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the stunning and breathtaking landscapes.
Catch a sleeper bus to travel back to Hanoi. After 6 hour's drive by expressway and break time on the way, we will arrive at Hanoi and drop off guests at the bus station at 166 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi (Near Old Quarter Area) between 21h00 PM to 21h30 PM. End 2 days tour.
