Hike to Laguna de los Tres with a local mountain team that has been exploring and guiding in Patagonia for more than 30 years.
Fitz Roy Expediciones was founded in El Chaltén in 1995, when this was still a remote mountain village at the edge of Los Glaciares National Park.

This is more than reaching the famous Fitz Roy viewpoint.
You’ll experience the trail with professional local mountain guides who know this landscape, its weather and its stories intimately.
We keep our groups small, allowing for a more personal experience and a genuine mountain pace rather than a rushed sightseeing tour.

Walk through native Patagonian forest, alongside rivers and mountain lakes, before taking on the final ascent to Laguna de los Tres and one of the most extraordinary views in Patagonia: Mount Fitz Roy rising directly above the glacial landscape.

    Reach Laguna de los Tres, the iconic viewpoint at the base of Mount Fitz Roy. After the final ascent, enjoy one of Patagonia’s most spectacular panoramas, surrounded by granite peaks, glaciers and turquoise mountain lakes.

  • Cerro Fitz Roy (Pass by)

    Hike through the dramatic mountain landscape surrounding Mount Fitz Roy, one of Patagonia’s most recognizable peaks. Your local mountain guide will lead the way while sharing insights about the terrain, weather and natural environment.

    Laguna Capri

    Pass Laguna Capri, a beautiful mountain lake surrounded by native Patagonian forest, with excellent views toward the Fitz Roy massif. It is one of the classic scenic points along the trail between El Chaltén and Laguna de los Tres.
