Volubilis (Berber languages: Walili, Arabic: وليلي) is a partly excavated Berber city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes, and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the kingdom of Mauretania.[1] Built in a fertile agricultural area, it developed from the 3rd century BC onward as a Berber, then proto-Carthaginian, settlement before being the capital of the kingdom of Mauretania. It grew rapidly under Roman rule from the 1st century AD onward and expanded to cover about 42 hectares (100 acres) with a 2.6 km (1.6 mi) circuit of walls

Together we will learn more about the historical and the cultural Roman city by looking at the ruins of the Arch of Caracalla, Basilica and Capitoline Temple. *Free time to discover the place as you pleasant. *Next stop, town Moulay- Idriss which built by Moulay Idriss. Opened just for Muslims, but it gives you an excellent impression, by taking a look at the hallway of the town. After lunch, *Discover walls with monumental gates dating back to XVII-century as Royal Palace, Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis, Bab Mansour and El Heri es-Souan huge granaries and stables built by Moulay Ismail's soldiers. *Go to the underground channels which bring fresh water from Middle Atlas Mountains *Stop in Moulay Ismail Mausoleum, in meekness You can explore the Medina. Visit Place-El-Hedim great monumental and other places Drive Back to Fez
