ARMENIA in 3 days (Garni, Sevan, Khor Virap, Areni...)

3 days (approximately)
Offered in: English

This tour will introduce you to the history of Armenia, even during paganism and after it: how Christianity spread and culture developed.

Just an hour's drive from the capital, at an altitude of 1900m above sea level, surrounded by picturesque mountains, Lake Sevan is located. Here, you will visit the Sevanavank Monastery.

Geghard, the monastery complex, represents 13th-century Armenia.

Garni Temple (77 AD) is the only pagan temple in the entire post-Soviet territory.

Khor Virap is a monastery complex at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat, where, according to legend, Noah ended up on the ark after the Flood.

Areni is a unique and colorful village in the Vayots Dzor region, which is famous for its exquisite types of wine. If desired, you can organize a tasting.

Noravank is a monastery complex built in the 13th and 14th centuries. It is located on the ledge of a narrow, winding gorge, which is famous for its steep red cliffs.
