Board a scenic boat across Lake Lucerne and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains as you cruise. Upon reaching Bürgenstock, take the historic funicular railway up into the mountains, with breathtaking views unfolding along the way. Once at the top, explore the Bürgenstock resort area, enjoy scenic trails and panoramic viewpoints, or simply relax in the peaceful Alpine surroundings.

Meeting and pickup
Your tour departs from Zurich Central Bus Station. We have no office there, so arrive 15 min early, look for the Swisstours bus and show your reservation to the driver. From Zürich HB, exit via Platform 18 and head towards Limmatstrasse. The bus station is between Starbucks and AVIA gas station.

3Lion Monument
Be sure to visit some of Lucerne’s most iconic landmarks, the Lion Monument. Carved directly into a natural rock face, the monument depicts a dying lion and commemorates the Swiss Guards who lost their lives during the French Revolution. Set in a peaceful, shaded setting just outside Lucerne’s Old Town, the monument offers a striking contrast between the quiet surroundings and the powerful story it represents. Your journey continues across the crystal-clear waters of Lake Lucerne, where a scenic boat cruise offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps and picturesque lakeside villages. Your driver-guide will provide your boat ticket and timetable, giving you the freedom to choose the departure time that suits you best. Feel the fresh Alpine breeze as you glide across the lake, taking in the ever-changing mountain scenery before arriving at Bürgenstock. Upon arrival, continue your journey into the mountains aboard the historic funicular railway. As you ascend, spectacular views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding peaks gradually unfold, creating a memorable backdrop for photographs. At the top, discover Bürgenstock at your own pace. Wander along scenic paths, pause at panoramic viewpoints overlooking the lake and Alps, or simply soak up the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful mountain retreat.
