The Titisee is situated in the southern Black Forest. It is a glacial lake and its ouflow, is the River Gutach. On the north shore lies the spa town of the same name, today a part of the municipality of Titisee-Neustadt. There is a number of activities all around the lake and it is ideal for hiking or a relaxed walk.
