    B12. Formal name should be the Sacred Way of Ming Tombs. It is a road with 36 beautifully carved human and animal figures served as guardians for the emperor’s afterlife. Also, it represents the journey from the secular world to the spiritual world and leads to the 13 Ming tombs. The total length of the Sacred Way is 7 kilometers and you will walk the 1 kilometer part with Stone Animals and some other iconic buildings.

    C1. Temple of Heaven is the place where the Ming and Qing emperors performed their ritual ceremonies.
