Your tour today will start by visiting the Temple of Heaven in the morning. It used to be the place where the Ming and Qing emperors performed their ritual ceremonies.
Then go to Liulichang Street, which is known throughout China for its traditional Chinese handicrafts. You will see a series of Qing style buildings, as well as watching painters and calligraphers working on their craft.
Enjoy lunch in Jindingxuan (optional), a popular Dim Sum restaurant frequented by superstars in Beijing. Then visit the Lama Temple, originally a palatial residence built in 1694 by Qing Emperor Kangxi for his fourth son, Prince Yongzheng.
Continue to visit Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved imperial garden in China. Depending on the season and weather, you will take a dragon boat inside.
