Dating back to 1563, the Alter Sudfriedhof is the final resting place of some of the city's most prominent historical figures. As you take in its serene ambience, you'll unearth stories of the lives (and deaths) of the people who helped to shape modern-day Munich, as well as tales of the macabre including: the Plague, torture and execution, political revolts, WWII, tragic accidents, and more. Yes, we even have a few ghost stories to share along the way as well. Pass by lively cafes and boutiques before visiting the city's best chocolate shop where you will indulge is a hot drinking chocolate of the gods.
