You will experience Munich's best Christmas markets the way the locals do it - drinking a hot cup of festive cheer and browsing through magical merchant stalls. Discover the history and traditions of an alpine Christmas and visit some of the city's must-see attractions along the way. Also, partake in some of the secret local delicacies that can only be found at Christmastime. What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The meeting point is at the top of the stairs at EXIT C of Marienplatz U-bahn station. Your guide will be holding a small sign.
The tour ends at the famous Oktoberfest grounds. You can choose to stay here or your guide will accompany you back to the starting point at Marienplatz via public transportation.

Near this historic square are two of Munich's most popular Christmas markets. Explore the festive courtyard of the Residence Palace before visiting a special market in the spirit of Medieval times. Here you will pick up a chalice of mulled wine and imagine what Munich must have been like a thousand years ago.
