The focus is on learning the techniques necessary to master the masterpieces of traditional Italian pastry (Canestrelli, Cantucci, Torta Caprese).
The experience culminates in a moment of taste and conviviality at the table, where you can savor your creations, with wine included, and receive digital recipes.

Chef and the City is a street workshop with three large shop windows and bright red signs. As soon as you arrive in front of the store you have to ring the bell of the central door to enter.

What to expect

You will meet in the Chef and the City professional cooking workshop, you will be part of the Chef's brigade as if you were working on a real pastry catering!
You will get to know each other by spicing something from the buffet offered by the Chef. After 10 minutes you will start cooking together, under the Guide of the Chef or qualified cooks. Everyone will have their own workstation and you will work on the professional benches, in groups of 4 - 5 people - as you can clearly see from the photos. You will enjoy working on different dough and preparation techniques to create the masterpieces of traditional Italian pastry: Canestrelli, Cantucci, Pan Meino and Torta Caprese.
We will end in the sweetness because you will focus on the technique of preparing these timeless desserts!
After about 2 hours you will sit at the table to enjoy all the cooked wonders! We will serve you desserts with a glass of Moscato and a glass of Vin Santo each. At the end of the experience the recipes will be released in digital format (qr code or photo). Don't worry if you don't want to eat all the cooked desserts because you can take them away in disposable boxes.
