Tour Overview
Discover Nagoya’s culinary heritage with a hands-on tofu and miso experience. At a tofu shop with over 100 years of history, learn the traditional craft directly from an artisan. Guided step by step, you will prepare tofu from soybeans and taste it fresh and warm. To accompany it, enjoy miso dengaku — skewered tofu topped with Nagoya’s signature dark miso, a rich flavor beloved by the Tokugawa shoguns and central to the region’s cuisine.
The workshop takes place in Japan Culture Village, where shrines, historic shops, and stylish cafés stand side by side. This setting provides the perfect opportunity to deepen your cultural discovery before or after your food experience.
Please enter the café and inform the receptionist that you are participating in the tour.
