Endoji Shopping Arcade is a charming arcade near Nagoya Station that embodies the nostalgic atmosphere of an old town dating back to the Meiji era, blended with the allure of new culture. Within the arcade, at the tea room Wasuikouan, you can enjoy a Zen meditation experience along with a simple meal of one soup, two dishes, and tea with sweets.We offer a Zen (meditation) experience led by an instructor with 15 years of meditation experience.

What to expect

This is an experience in a unique tea room located on the street level of Endoji, the oldest shopping arcade in Nagoya. The tea room is conveniently located just a 15-minute walk from Nagoya Station, or one subway station away. It offers an accessible and gentle Zen experience led by an instructor with 15 years of experience in seated meditation. After meditation, you can enjoy simple kaiseki dishes served in the tea ceremony and sweets with matcha under the guidance of traditional etiquette.
