This Adventure will take you to many of the iconic features in Yellowstone Park. Let your Guide get you out of the car for adventure to many of the thermal features accessible by foot only. This day will include a picnic style lunch, morning coffee, water, and snacks along the trail. Also this includes the use of high powered binoculars and spotting scopes where needed.

We pick up within 15 miles of Gardiner including at the Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel & Cabins. Please make sure we have your correct cell phone #. Expect a call the day before your tour from your guide to check in with you and make sure we have your lunch order. Your Guide will also make sure we will be covering all of your priorities for your private tour

    Roosevelt Arch

    The Roosevelt Arch is a Landmark which designates the first and only year-round entrance to Yellowstone National Park This iconic 1903 stone monument symbolising conservation, where you can walk beneath its historic inscription. This Historic Inscription reads "For the Benefit & Enjoyment of the People," a quote from the 1872 act that created Yellowstone National Park. You will stop here either on your way into Yellowstone, or on the way out.

    Explore the thermal terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs and learn about Fort Yellowstone with an option to stop at the Visitor's Center.

    Norris Geyser Basin

    Norris Geyser Basin is the hottest, oldest, and most dynamic of Yellowstone's geothermal areas. Norris shows evidence of having had thermal features for at least 115,000 years. The features in the area change daily. The basin consists of two areas; Porcelain Basin and the Back Basin. Time spent in this area will depend on timing and congestion in the area. There are over 100 thermal features in this area alone.

    Grand Prismatic Spring

    The Grand Prismatic Spring is the star attraction of the largest hot spring in the U.S. Boasting vibrant rings of colour from heat-loving microbes. The Grand Prismatic Spring can be viewed unclose or from the overlook hike,. it is located in the Midway Geyser Basin. There are a couple of ways to access a view for this iconic feature. Your Guide will discuss these and determine the best way for you and your group to see and photograph this feature.

    Midway Geyser Basin

    The Midway Geyser Basin offers a short stunning boardwalk stroll past the iconic, rainbow-hued Grand Prismatic Spring and the massive Excelsior Geyser Crater, with opportunities to see to see the Turquoise Pool and Opal Pool, creating an unforgettable, colourful, and steamy experience perfect for families. Listed separately for stops is the separate Fairy Falls Overlook hike for the best aerial views of the Grand Prismatic.

    Watching Old Faithful Geyser erupt is a Yellowstone National Park tradition. Old Faithful is one of nearly 500 geysers in Yellowstone and one of six that park rangers currently predict.
