Surrounded by Maasai Steppes and the Lakes of the Great Rift Valley, it has sprawling grasslands dotted with majestic Baobabs, swamps, woodlands, and charming hills. The river Tarangire that flows through it throughout the year attracts herds of elephants, wildebeests, buffalos, and many other species along with flocks of birds. Especially during the dry season spotting wildlife will be quite easy as vegetation will be dried up which will improve visibility and an abundance of animals could be found near water bodies.
