    Meet your guide outside the train station in Camogli and start exploring the historic center strolling along its charming “Carugi” (alleys). Learn about the history and culture of the village and continue down the streets to the sea, passing by trompe l'œil villas and elegant shops.

    Visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta dating to the 12th century, which like a shrine holds the treasures of the small fishermen community. The Basilica stands on what is called the ancient medieval island, the fulcrum of the village, where the political and religious life of the hamlet was carried out in ancient times; today it represents the symbol of Camogli.

    Learn about the history of Dragon’s Castle, built on a promontory near the edge of town in the 13th century to protect the village against pirates. Stroll along the seaside promenade and stop at the small harbour filled with fishing boats. After all this walking you will be rewarded with a delicious lunch at a typical Ligurian restaurant.
