Your first stop is the impressive Kata Tjuta, where you’ll explore the famous domes on a guided walk. As you wander between these ancient rock formations, your guide will share insights into their cultural significance and geological history.
Later, head to a prime viewing area to witness sunset over Uluru. Watch as the rock transforms through deep reds, oranges, and purples while you enjoy a light snack.
Rise early for a truly unforgettable moment — sunrise over Uluru. As the first light hits the rock, you’ll experience one of Australia’s most iconic natural spectacles. After sunrise, your guide will lead you to a culturally significant site, where you’ll learn about Anangu rock art and ancient creation stories that bring the landscape to life. You’ll then have time to complete the full Uluru Base Walk at your own pace, getting up close to its textures, waterholes, and sacred sites. This is the best way to truly appreciate the scale and presence of Uluru.
Once you’ve had lunch, perhaps purchase some art and craft of the First Peoples of Australia, at the Uluru Cultural Centre.
