Itinerary

Duration: 6 hours (approximately)
  • 1
    Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park

The tour will pass through the village of Middle Island, the oldest Anglican Church and Brimstone Hill Fortress. At the village of St Paul the tour will drive through Belmont Estate to the parking area which is about 1200 feet above sea level. A thorough overview of the flora and fauna would be shared with the guests. The rainforest provides a canopy against the rain. It is fairly easy to start with no more than your average trek but the last quarter takes half time as you go up and over and hopscotch over roots and rocks.

    Berkeley Memorial

The island’s colorful architecture is characteristically Caribbean. The central roundabout is the Berkeley Memorial, which is originally built in the style of Piccadilly Circus in London. The green and yellow structure has clock on four sides with a built in fountain and stands in the middle of restaurants, commercial banks and the National Museum. You will view the St George Anglican Church built by the Jesuits in 1670 and The War Memorial, a Cenotaph built to honor those who fought in the world wars. Be sure to capture the Island’s lush vegetation, verdant mountains and turquoise Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.
