    Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel

    Kathmandu

    Your UNESCO World heritage Sightseeing in Kathmandu tour begins with your arrival in Kathmandu. Representative from Paradise Himalayan Journey will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport(TIA). and help you with your luggage and transfer to hotel. Depending upon your arrival time and if time permits, you can take rest in hotel or walk around Thamel in afternoon and evening. Welcome dinner together at evening with Paradise Himalayan Team.

    Guided Bhaktapur sightseeing and drive to Nagarkot

    Bhaktapur Durbar Square

    Today we will explore Bhaktapur city, the city of ancient monuments, temples, pagoda styled temples and wooden/stone carved temples. After breakfast, we drive to Bhaktapur, 16 KM east of Kathmandu for about 30 min. Bhaktapur gifted with medieval age sculptures, colorful carved temples, palaces of Malla and Lichhivi Kings of ancient Nepal; you will explore the Bhaktapur Durbar Square(Cotyard), Pachpanna Jhyale Durbar (55 window palace), Golden Gate, Nyatapole Temple, and Duttatraya Temple. Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a royal palace of old Bhaktapur Kingdom is listed under UNESCO World heritage. We will also explore other attactions of Bhaktapur Durbar Square like Vatsala Temple, Statue of Bhupatindra Malla, Bhairava Nath Temple, Lion's Gate and Mini Pashupati Temple if we get enough time.

    Changunarayan

    After lunch we will drive about 2-3 hours to next famous UNESCO Heritage site, Changunarayan Temple. We explore the Changunarayan premises for about half and hour

    Nagarkot

    we drive to Nagarkot for beautiful views of sunset and sunrise Thre is a hiking route of about 2 hours up to subtropical if you are interested to hike up.[Optional] .Nagarkot is perfect viewpoints near Kathmandu valley for spectacular views of mountains including Mt. Everest and Mt. Langtang.

    Kathmandu Sightseeing

    Pashupatinath Temple

    Today early morning we hike up about 30 minutes for beautiful sunrise. We spend about half an hour with peaceful Mantra Chanting and Meditation. Then after breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. We visit to Pashupatinath Temple in the morning(Hindus sacred temple), one of the holiest Hindu temples.

    Boudhanath Stupa

    Then we transfer to Boudha Stupa located only 2.2 KM far from Pashupatinath. We explore Boudhanath Stupa.

    Now we drive to Swayambhunath Stupa (The Monkey Temple). From Syayambhunath Sutpa we view the ariel view of Kathmandu city. We will have Lunch at Rooftop Restaurant in Swayambhunath.

    Kathmandu Durbar Square

    After Lunch we then transfer Kathmandu Durbar Square (Basantapur) to explore the ancient city of Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square is fine piece of ancient remarkale gift full of art and craft including Kathmandu Durbar Square, the ‘Hanuman Dhoka’ and Kumari temple. Kathmandu Durbar Square will spotify you with the 12th – 17 century Durbar Square (Cotyard) built by ancient Malla Kings of Nepal. If we have time, we will walk towards the north of Kathmandu Durbar Square, called Asan & Indrachowk. Asan and Indrachowk is the traditional typical open market with traditional houses from the 17th century, We will explore Kathmandu Durbar Square and Thamel area by walking.

    The last morning at Kathmandu, we will have breakfast togther reflecting all the memories you expeienced during your Everest Base Camp Trek. Paradise Himalayan Journey Team will drop you to airport approximately three hours before your scheduled flight, along with your luggage to Trivhuvan International Airport for your departure.
