Experience the Amalfi Coast from the sea on a relaxed small-group boat tour departing from Sorrento (max 12 guests). Travel aboard a traditional Amalfi Coast “gozzo” boat equipped with shade canopy, restroom, and freshwater shower for maximum comfort throughout the day.
Cruise past dramatic cliffs, hidden beaches, sea caves, and colorful fishing villages that can only be fully appreciated from the water. Along the way, enjoy swimming and snorkeling stops in crystal-clear bays, with equipment provided on board.
Unlike many coastal boat trips, this experience also includes generous free time in both Positano and Amalfi (about 1.5 hours each), giving you the opportunity to explore the towns, relax on the beach, or stop for lunch before continuing the cruise.
Fresh fruit and a selection of drinks—including water, soft drinks, beer, prosecco, and limoncello—are served on board to complete a truly memorable day along one of the world’s most spectacular coastlines.
PORT OF SORRENTO: The meeting point is in front of RUCCIO RESTAURANT, located at the main port of Sorrento (Via Marina Piccola). Twenty minutes before the tour, you will recognize our crew by their orange umbrella, positioned in front of the restaurant.
After departure from Sorrento, the boat cruises along the scenic coastline of the Sorrentine Peninsula, passing cliffs, villas, and small fishing coves.
Reach Punta Campanella, the dramatic headland where the Bay of Naples meets the Amalfi Coast and where the protected marine area begins.
Cruise past the protected Bay of Ieranto, a beautiful marine reserve known for its crystal-clear waters and untouched natural scenery.
Admire the mythical Li Galli Islands from the boat, a small archipelago rising from the turquoise waters just off the Amalfi Coast.
Arrive in Positano, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to explore the colorful streets, relax on the beach, swim or snorkel in the clear waters, and optionally stop for lunch in one of the seaside restaurants.
Continue along the coast past Praiano, a quiet fishing village perched on the cliffs, known for its panoramic views and colorful houses overlooking the sea.
Cruise past the famous Fiordo di Furore, a dramatic natural fjord carved into the cliffs and crossed by a high bridge, one of the most photographed spots along the Amalfi Coast.
Cruise past Conca dei Marini, a picturesque seaside village known for its dramatic cliffs, elegant villas, and the famous Emerald Grotto located along this stretch of coast.
Continue along the coast before arriving in Amalfi, one of Italy’s historic maritime republics. Enjoy about 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to explore the town, visit the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, and swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear coastal waters.
