Experience the Amalfi Coast from the sea on a relaxed small-group boat tour departing from Salerno (max 12 guests). Travel aboard a traditional Amalfi Coast “gozzo” boat equipped with shade canopy, restroom, and freshwater shower for comfort throughout the day.
Cruise along the coastline past colorful fishing villages, medieval watchtowers, dramatic cliffs, and hidden coves that can only be fully appreciated from the water. Along the way, enjoy swimming and snorkeling stops in crystal-clear bays, with equipment provided on board.
Unlike many coastal boat trips, this experience also includes generous free time in both Amalfi and Positano (about 1.5 hours each). Explore the historic streets of Amalfi, relax on the beach, or stop for lunch before continuing the cruise toward Positano.
Fresh fruit and a selection of drinks—including water, soft drinks, beer, prosecco, and limoncello—are served on board to complete a memorable day along one of the world’s most spectacular coastlines.
MASUCCIO PIER: The meeting point is in front of the Travelmar ferry ticket booth at Masuccio Salernitano Pier – Tourist Port of Salerno. Twenty minutes before the tour, you’ll recognize the crew holding an orange umbrella in front of the ferry ticket booth.
After departure from Salerno, the boat begins cruising west along the Amalfi Coast, offering panoramic views of the coastline as the city gradually fades behind us.
Pass the colorful town of Vietri sul Mare, famous worldwide for its traditional ceramics and considered the gateway to the Amalfi Coast.
Cruise past the fishing village of Cetara and the small seaside town of Erchie, where traditional boats, pastel houses, and a medieval watchtower overlook the coastline.
Continue along the coast past Maiori and Minori, where long beaches meet dramatic cliffs and terraced hillsides.
Our first stop ashore is Amalfi, one of Italy’s historic maritime republics. Enjoy approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to explore the town, visit the Cathedral of Saint Andrew, swim or snorkel in the clear waters, relax on the beach, or stop for lunch in one of the restaurants around the lively main square.
Cruise past the famous Fiordo di Furore, a dramatic natural fjord carved into the cliffs and crossed by a high bridge, one of the most photographed spots along the Amalfi Coast.
Cruise past Conca dei Marini, a picturesque seaside village known for its dramatic cliffs, seaside villas, and the famous Emerald Grotto nearby.
Continue along the coast past Praiano, a quiet fishing village perched on the cliffs and known for its beautiful views of the Amalfi Coast.
Arrive in Positano, the jewel of the Amalfi Coast. Enjoy approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time to explore the town, wander through its vertical streets, browse artisan boutiques, relax by the beach, and swim or snorkel in the clear waters.
