Hotel Orangutan has hosted over 10,000 guests over the 10 years of operation and has experienced, qualified, and caring guides. And you can Enjoy Overnight riverside camping and rafting.
We have never done a trek where our guests don't see Orangutans as we employ spotters who go out early to find their location.
We take a safety-first approach to our treks and go at your required speed.
We are a social enterprise and 80% of your trek fee goes to the local villagers.

    This 8000sq/k rainforest is home to the Sumatran Orangutan, Tiger, Rhino and Elephant. Not to mention many types of gibbons and monkeys. Also home to the worlds largest flower - Rafflesia arnoldii

    Walk across the ill and tube back on the river

    Start the day with a hearty breakfast, more trekking then ride a raft made from tubes back down the river to the hotel
