The traditional market in Santo da Serra is open on Sundays. You may buy fruits, vegetables, flowers, crafts, souvenirs and more. There are also delicious snacks and local drinks to try. Next to the traditional market, there is a gipsy market with a diversity of products.
The other highlight is the public park with a wide diversity of Madeiran flora and fauna species.
The viewpoint over the natural reserve of Garajau is a must see when you visit Madeira. On this location, you will also see the Cristo Rei statue.
We have two meeting points in the center of Funchal City. One is by the cable car station located in the old town. The other is located in the roundabout so-called "Rotunda do Infante".
We are located at the entrance of the Shopping Center, on the right side. Our shop is easy to find, just look for a yellow smiley face, shop sign.

You can visit the fish market or have a short walk on the promenade by the sea. You can also visit the São Salvador Church, a gothic manueline style temple. It is one of the churches, outside of Funchal, with a large architectural interest.
The majestic statue of Cristo Rei stands on top of a hill which drops into a ravine, towards the sea. The viewpoint, in Garajau, gives visitors an excellent partial view over Funchal bay, the Garajau Reserve, Caniço de Baixo and the Atlantic Ocean.
