Pick up at the hotel. First, we will take you to Cabo Girão, famous for being one of the highest cliffs in the world, with an imperious height of 580 m. above the Atlantic Ocean. If you are brave enough DA climb the glass viewing platform, the magnificent view beneath your feet will captivate you. Access to the on-site viewpoint is at an additional cost, so we will do it by car to the Encumeada Pass. The scenery is beautiful! In the north of the island, stroll along the charming street of São Vicente and admire the beautiful 17th century church. Then admire the impressive cliffs and waterfalls on the way to Porto Moniz, with incredible natural pools dating back 6,500 years (there's time for free lunch and bathing). We will return to Funchal. We will make our last stop in the beautiful fishing village of Câmara DE Lupi to see what inspired Winston Churchill to paint there.
Pick up at the hotel. We will start our walk to the beautiful viewpoint of Pico dos Barcelos. DA offers incredible views of the entire city of Funchal, including the bay and mountains. Next, we will take you to Eira do Serrado, with its spectacular and dramatic views. Once at the top, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the "Vale das Freiras" and the surrounding Massif Central. Our next stop will be the parish of Curral das Freiras (Valley of the Nuns), considered the most isolated village on the island. Chestnuts are one of the most important DA crops grown here and used by locals for the preparation of many regional specialties. Don't miss the chance to sample local specialities.

Pick up at the hotel. In this tour we will first visit the parish of Monte. In Monte you will find Largo DA Fonte, the municipal gardens and the ancient railway station that served Monte on the route from the center of Funchal to Terreiro do Luta. This parish is also home to the church of Nossa Senhora do Monte, patron saint of the island of Madeira, and is also the starting point of traditional basket carriages for Livramento (descent not included). Then we go to the Botanical Garden. This garden has DA botanical species and over 2,500 plants from all continents living together in perfect harmony. (entrance to the garden included).
Pick up at the hotel. Our first stop will be the Pico do Arieiro (1818 m.), a must-see destination. The next stop will be in the Ribeiro Frio Natural Park and will allow you to travel back in time by 1.8 million years walking in the fascinating Laurissilva Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will stop in Faial to enjoy fabulous views of the coast and later, in Santana, you will see some of Madeira's oldest houses, the famous traditional thatched roof huts. After free time for lunch, we will pass DA before the enchanting views of Portela, overlooking the village of Porto DA Cruz and the famous Pedra da Águia. Next, we will head to Ponta DE São Lourenço to admire the geology that makes this landscape so unique. Finally, we will visit the historic city of Machico, whose discovery by the Portuguese in the 15th century began the era of exploration and discovery of the New World.
