Meeting point

Our meeting spot is the entrance of Templo de Santo Domingo on Calle Macedonio Alcalá in Oaxaca’s Centro Histórico. Your CTH host will be wearing a black Club Tengo Hambre tote bag, waiting for you right near the door at the front of the church.

End point

The outing concludes in Barrio La Merced neighborhood of Oaxaca, where you will be able to hail a taxi or walk back to your hotel.

  • The sun and heat can be very intense in Oaxaca. We recommend that guests bring sunglasses, hats and sunscreen if they are sensitive to the sun, as there won’t be places to stop for for these things along the route.
  • Oaxaca City sits at 1,555 meters or 5,100 feet, so please get plenty of rest and drink plenty of water before the food tour.
