Want to discover the city of Lagos - the sixth-largest city in the world by population? The city was previously known as Eko but was renamed Lagos by the Portuguese. During this tour, you will see the best places in Lagos on foot.
Over five hours, you’ll feel the vibe of the city. We’ll take you through Old Lagos, where you’ll feel the history and meet the friendly people, who make the city more exciting. There are about 250 ethnic groups in Nigeria, each having its language, culture, food, and mode of dressing. All of them you will find in Lagos, and you will have the opportunity to see them on the lively streets.
You’ll walk through historical sites, many dating back as far as the slave trade era. Lagos was a major slave-trade center. You’ll see the slave market, prison, the very popular door-of-no-return, and the slave museum. You’ll also see chains and other slavery day relics.
