Culloden Battlefield, the location a poignant and pivotal moment in Scottish history! The end of Bonnie Prince Charlie, and his predecessors, attempt to claim the throne. You may also visit the Visitor Centre, both free to access. There is and Entry fee to the museum, located in the centre. This is Not included in excursion.
A visit the world famous Loch Ness, where you can touch its waters or even paddle in it. Just watch out for Nessie!
Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands, where you can spend some free time, visiting some of the city attractions, enjoying retail therapy or indulge in sampling some highland hospitality! Options could include, the Inverness Castle Experience, Inverness Cathedral, the Uilebheist Distillery and Brewery and more! We have listened to guests who have desired more time in the Highland Capital, and built this into our excursion. (2 hours 30 minutes)
Time permitting, we will travel through the beautiful village of Beauly. Passing by the Beauly Priory, monastic settlement of the Valliscaulian order of monks.
Time permitting, we will travel through the the Norse parliamentary town of Dingwall, and its surrounding waters, once controlled by the Vikings who occupied the area,
