We provide free pickup at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter between 19:30–20:00 on the evening before the tour starts.
Arrival in Ha Giang around 03:00–04:00 AM. A free dorm bed and breakfast are available at our Ha Giang office (QT Guest House) before the tour begins.
If you are not staying in the Old Quarter, you can directly visit our office at 16 Thanh Hà, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội. Our bus will pick you up here
After breakfast, begin your journey along the “Happiness Road”, heading north out of Ha Giang City. Ride over the Quan Ba mountain pass, stop at Heaven’s Gate for breathtaking views, and see the charming Fairy Hills.
Have lunch around Tam Son, then continue through scenic mountain roads to reach Du Gia village, a peaceful valley surrounded by rice fields and waterfalls. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight with a local ethnic minority family.
Say goodbye to your hosts and continue north through some of Vietnam’s most stunning passes. Stop in Meo Vac for lunch before riding the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass
Experience the thrill of conquering the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, renowned for its breathtaking views of deep canyons and winding rivers—an unforgettable highlight of your Hà Giang adventure.
Arrive in Dong Van, the northernmost town of Vietnam. Explore the Old Quarter or hike to the French Fortress for sunset.
If it’s Sunday, you’ll start the day at the vibrant Dong Van Market, where ethnic minorities from all around the region gather to trade and socialize.
Then head to Lung Cu, the northernmost point of Vietnam, and climb the Lung Cu Flag Tower to view the China border.
Continue to Sa Phin to visit the H’mong King’s Palace, then ride through Yen Minh pine forest and reach Nam Dam village, home to the Dao ethnic group.
Enjoy a relaxed morning walk in Nam Dam village before exploring the impressive Lung Khuy Cave, one of Ha Giang’s natural treasures. Have lunch in Tam Son, then take a scenic backroad through limestone peaks and rice terraces, returning to Ha Giang City by afternoon. Take the bus back to Hanoi.
