2Borobudur Temple
Start early with a visit to Borobudur Temple, a masterpiece of Buddhist architecture built in the 8th century. Admire the intricate carvings, hundreds of stupas, and panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

3Prambanan Temple
Continue to Prambanan Temple, a grand Hindu temple complex dedicated to the Trimurti gods: Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. Explore its tall spires and detailed stone reliefs that depict stories from the Ramayana epic.

4Cemorolawang
Travel overland from Yogyakarta to East Java (approximately 6–7 hours). Enjoy scenic countryside views, traditional Javanese villages, and rice terraces along the way. Arrive in Cemoro Lawang Village, located at the foot of Mount Bromo, and stay overnight in a comfortable hotel.

5Mount Bromo
Wake up around 2:30 AM for an unforgettable sunrise adventure. Ride a 4WD jeep to the Bromo viewpoint, where you’ll witness one of Indonesia’s most stunning panoramas, Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru in the distance. Descend into the Sea of Sand and walk or ride a horse to the foot of Mount Bromo. Climb 250 steps to the crater rim for breathtaking views of the steaming volcano and the surrounding national park. After breakfast and some rest, continue your journey toward Ijen, with an overnight stay near the base of the volcano.

6Ijen
Depart around midnight for the Ijen Crater hike (about 3 km uphill). Trek through forested slopes under the stars to witness the extraordinary blue flames, caused by burning sulfuric gases. As dawn breaks, marvel at the stunning turquoise lake, the largest acidic lake in the world surrounded by rugged volcanic cliffs. After descending, relax and enjoy breakfast before your scenic drive to Bali, where the tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel or preferred location.
