1Tumpak Sewu Waterfall
After pickup from your hotel, train station, or airport in Surabaya or Malang, begin the journey toward Tumpak Sewu Waterfall. Upon arrival, meet your local trekking guide and start the descent into the valley. The route includes concrete stairs, bamboo pathways, river crossings, and wet sections of trail. The hike can be challenging but rewards visitors with close-up views of the waterfall's massive curtain-like flow. You'll have time to enjoy the scenery, take photos, and experience the atmosphere from the base of the falls before returning to the parking area. In the afternoon, continue by road to the Mount Bromo area and check into your accommodation. The evening is free to rest before the early morning excursion.

2Mount Bromo
Around 2:00–3:00 AM, board a 4WD jeep and head into the Mount Bromo area. Reach a sunrise viewpoint before dawn and watch the volcanic landscape gradually emerge as daylight spreads across the Tengger Caldera. Weather conditions can vary, but on clear mornings you'll enjoy views of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru in the distance. After sunrise, continue across the Sea of Sand and walk to the crater rim of Mount Bromo. The hike is relatively short but includes stairs and volcanic terrain. Return to the hotel for breakfast before beginning the transfer back to Surabaya or Malang. Expected arrival is generally in the afternoon, depending on traffic conditions.
