Start at the Zócalo, one of the world's largest public squares, where you can stroll at your own pace and take incredible photos with the Cathedral as your backdrop. Then see the Templo Mayor, the Mexica heart beneath the modern city. Continue to Pastelería La Ideal, a century-old bakery, then Casa de los Azulejos, Palacio Postal, and Palacio de Minería.
As a true early riser, enjoy authentic morning food : tamales, atole, chilaquiles, pot coffee, and fresh bread—no lines, no crowds, just the best morning light. Finish in the lobby of the Palace of Fine Arts, with the city waking up around you. Wake up early and treat yourself to a Historic Center all to yourself!

The tour will end in the lobby of the Palace of Fine Arts. From there, you can continue exploring on your own or return easily by metro, bus or taxi.
