Explore the Baroque treasures of Rome with our Baroque Small Group walking Tour! Thanks to our enthusiastic guide in just 2 hours you will learn interesting anecdotes about the world-famous artists such as Bernini and many more.

Starting from the Navona Square you will marvel at the historical places and anecdotes told by your tour guide. In an easy walk you will stop at the Church St. Louis French to admire the Caravaggio paintings. After it you will visit from outdoor the Pantheon where Raphael's tomb is located; continuing to Trevi Fountain you can throw a coin as good luck. Finally, you will arrive at the Spanish Steps with the Barcaccia's fountain and beautiful palaces.

    Piazza Navona

    Your tour will start at Navona Square. It is the most beautiful Baroque square which used to be a stadium in ancient Rome. Here your guide will show Bernini’s ‘Four River Fountain’.

    Pantheon

    The Pantheon will be your next stop (outdoor) : the pagan temple once turned into a church is the best-preserved ancient Roman building. Its shape has a circular drum structure, covered by a dome and an opening in the center, the “Oculus”. You will then proceed to Colonna Square, the main square of Colonna district, that takes its name form column of Marcus Aurelius.

    Trevi Fountain

    From Pantheon, you will move to the Trevi Fountain, a magical place and one of the oldest water sources in Rome. As you go on, your guide will explain to you the figures of this sculptural group and its history.

    Spanish Steps

    The last part of the tour will be at the Spanish Steps, dominated by the Trinità dei Monti church at the top. A monumental stairway of 174 steps designed by architects Francesco de Sanctis and Alessandro Specchi. In the center of the square, you can see a fountain designed by Bernini.
