Altitude: 1,350m/4,428ft Upon arriving in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, we will welcome you with warm greetings. Then you will be transferred to the hotel. We will have a briefing session in the evening and preparation for the trek followed by a good rest.
Altitude: 2,800m/9184ft (Lukla) & 2,652m/8,698ft (Phakding) Walking Distance: 8km (3-4 hours) The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes around 35 minutes over the breathtaking views of the mountains. Upon arrival, we will start our trekking adventure along Dudh Koshi river passing stone villages, and snow-topped mountains to Cheplung (2,700m) and Ghat (2,530. Enjoy your first overnight in Phakding.
After breakfast, we walk through pine forests and cross Dudh Koshi River on a long suspension bridge that takes us to Monjo Village. Shortly afterward we will arrive at the entrance of the Sagarmatha National Park, where your trekking permits will be registered. We will begin a steep ascent and reach Namche Bazaar for your overnight stop from where you can catch the first glimpse of Mt. Everest in the distance.
Altitude: 3,440m/11,283ft Today is the rest day in Namche Bazaar to relax and acclimatize. You can spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar, the historical mountaineering. You can also choose to do a 3-4 hours hike to the Everest viewpoint hotel, which will help your body adjust to the higher altitude. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset views on the backdrop of majestic mountains such as Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest.
Altitude: 3,800/12,467ft, Walking Distance: 9.2 km (5-6 hours) Ascending through the village Phunki Tenga you will reach Tengboche, which houses the largest and most legendary Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region. Overnight in Tengboche.
Altitude: 4,200/13,779ft, Walking Distance: 9 km (5-6 hours) The trail descends from Tengboche through the rhododendron forest to Debuche. We reach Pangboche village, after crossing the Imja Khola River. You will be enthralled by the spectacular views of Mt. Ama Dablam and many mountains.
After days of strenuous walking, you will have a free day to rest and relax. Alternatively, a hike to Nangkhartshang Peak (5083m) would be an ideal way to acclimatize and might take 3-4 hours.
Altitude: 4,900m/16,076ft, Walking Distance: 11-12 km (6-7 hours) we will ascend steeply on the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier, the highest glacier in the world.
Altitude: 5180m/16,994ft (Gorakshep) &5364m/17598 (EBC) Walking Distance: 15km (6-8 hours) The trail from GorakShep is comparatively challenging due to rocky terrain and icefalls. Continuing to climb the Khumbu glacier, you will be rewarded for your hard work with breathtaking views of the mountains while arriving at the Everest base camp. Altitude: 5,545m/18,192ft (Kalapathar) & 4,320m/14,173ft (Pangboche) Starting early morning you will climb 2-3 hours uphill towards Kalapathar, meaning “black rock” in Nepali. Get ready to behold the unparalleled views of the whole of the khumbu glacier below and the majestic views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Changtse and Lhotse above. We retrace our steps down to Gorakshep and continue descending to Pangboche.
Altitude: 3,440m/11,284ft Walking Distance: 13-15km (7-8 hours) The trail from pangboche to Namche is full of ups and downs. Via Tengboche lunch. covered with rhododendron and juniper trees harboring a number of animals and birds before reaching Namche Bazaar. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
Altitude: 2,800m/9,184ft, Walking Distance: 16km (6-7 hours) route descends down to Lukla following the Dudh Koshi River and crossing several suspension bridges through the valley. A celebration with your trekking crew awaits you in the evening to mark your successful expedition in the Himalayas.
Altitude: 1350m/4428ft, Flight time: 35 minutes. you will wake early to take a flight to Kathmandu and then transfer to the hotel. Explore Kathmandu city or relax for the rest of the day.
Enjoy your last moment in Kathmandu with a stroll or souvenir shopping. Marking the end of your trek, we will drive you to the Tribhuvan International Airport at the scheduled time for your flight home. or if you have extra days for other activities you can reach us.
