What to expect

Meet at Tabinosha → Guide to the tea fields where you can see the word "cha" (tea) written on them: Tea-grass farming method, a World Agricultural Heritage. Enjoy the tea-picking experience under the guidance of a tea farmer in the tea fields where the tea was grown → Enjoy a Satoyama lunch using tempura made from the picked tea leaves and seasonal ingredients at Tabinosha, a 68-year-old traditional Japanese inn → After the meal, try making kettle-fried tea with the picked tea leaves! Make a one-of-a-kind handmade tea → Disband after the experience. *From winter to spring (November to mid-April), you can enjoy tea tasting and a tea-grass farming experience instead of the tea-picking experience. Also, since tea leaves are not in season, we will provide other tea dishes instead of tea-leaf tempura.
