Along the way, we can make stops for restroom breaks, ATM use, snack purchases, or simply to stretch your legs. The town boasts one of the most beautiful and colorful cemeteries in the world, with vibrant, richly painted gravestones standing around the property in a kaleidoscope of color. If Lucky, you'll see a Mayan ceremony at it.
After exploring Chichicastenango, we’ll take a scenic 1-hour drive to Panajachel, the gateway to Lake Atitlán. Here, we’ll visit the town’s main street and its bustling dock, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the lake and its majestic volcanoes. Lunch is on your own at one of Panajachel’s many delightful restaurants before we head back to the city.
At the end of our wonderful tour, we will take you safely back to your hotel in the city. You can take advantage of this time to relax or take a nap if you wish.
