This one day tour starts at 8 o’clock in the morning. We’ll come and get you from your hotel and head out to Krabei Reil commune. Here, we will visit a local village where you can see how the locals live their daily lives. You can also learn about the culture of Buddhism from a local pagoda and visit a local market. We’ll then head over to the Angkor Silk Farm and learn how Cambodian silk is produced.

Itinerary

    We’ll come and pick you up from your hotel around 8 o’clock in the morning. From here, we’ll head out west along the National Road 6 to Krabei Riel commune. We’ll get out here and visit a small local market where you can explore, do a little shopping and get to interact with the locals. Your guide can translate for you and help you to haggle for the best price. We’ll then head to the see the Angkor Silk Farm. Here, you can learn about the entire process of producing Cambodian silk from cultivating the silk worms to weaving the garments. On the way back to Siem Reap, we’ll stop by a local pagoda where you’ll get the opportunity to learn more about the Khmer way of life and especially their religion – Buddhism. You can get a blessing from a local monk and explore the beautiful pagoda.
