This lake is the lifeblood of the country and the primary source of fish provider for Cambodians. At the rainy season, May to November, the lake normally becomes double its side and it is the best time Cambodia to catch fish for their daily food or selling. In the dry season, December to April, this area will become fertilizer land for farmers to do their rice planting and some others kind of vegetables.
