Pickup details:

Pick up will be at your accommodation in Cape Town and surrounds. Pick up time is 9:00am, but you are welcome to suggest your own pick up time. During our PEAK season which is 20th December - 15th January we recommend Pick up at 7:30 - 8:00 am to avoid long queue and waiting period to the Cape and Penguins colony. You could wait up to an hour.

    Pick up at 9:00am at your accommodation in Cape Town. We are flexible, should you wish to begin your tour earlier or later. From there we will embark on a brief drive-by city orientation tour to view some of the important historical monuments in the city.

    We stop in the Bo-Kaap to take a photo with the colourful houses and perhaps greet a local or two if they are around. Please remain next to your own tour guide and keep your belongings close to you at all times.

    We travel along the Atlantic Seaboard passing through Three Anchor Bay, Bantry Bay, Clifton and Camps Bay. We stop at Maiden's Cove to take some breathtaking photos with the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay beach in the distance.

    Hout Bay Harbour is next on our list of top attractions in Cape Town. Here we can choose to take the seal island boat trip or enjoy some shopping at the market. There are restrooms and a curio shop where you can also enjoy a cup of coffee.

    From Hout Bay we will travel along Chapmans Peak Drive, one of the most beautiful drives in the world. We stop at the Chapmans peak viewpoint to take some breathtaking photos and marvel at the beauty of sun-glazed oceans sparkling for as far as the eye can see.

    Travelling along the Atlantic coastline, with views of Long Beach in the distance, an optional stop at Noordhoek Farm Village will be offered. Coffee lovers will enjoy an optional coffee at the Village Roast, one of the best coffee brewers in Cape Town.

    One of the most historic nature reserves in South Africa, Cape of Good Hope affords us the opportunity to explore the historical monuments of Diaz and Da Gama and take our photo behind the Cape of Good Hope name board.

    From the Cape of Good Hope we proceed to Cape Point, where we can either take a short walk to the cape point lighthouse or we can take an optional Funicular to the lighthouse at an additional cost. From the Cape Point lighthouse, we can take a peak through the telescope and explore the rest of the lighthouse. This is the official meeting point of the Two Ocean Currents: Cold Benguela and the Warm Agulhas currents. Lunch options at Cape Point are the Two Oceans Restaurant for a fresh seafood sit down lunch, or grab a takeaway from the informal eatery.

    Departing from Cape Point, we will make our way along the coast to Boulders Penguins Colony, where we will view approximately 2500 African penguins frolicking on the beach. These enchanting sea creatures love to wander off the beach and you may find them striding next to you on the boardwalk.

    An optional stop at St. James beach will give you the opportunity to take a photo with the colourful beach huts. These beach huts are traditionally used as changing rooms for sunbathers and swimmers, and make for a colourful photo.
