Enjoy an exclusive excursion - without other participants - to the plateau of the Zugspitze (2,962 metres) glacier.
The trip starts in the morning, with pick up at your Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen or Fuessen accommodation. Cool drinks and snacks will be waiting for you in a comfortable SUV-, Minivan- or Sportscar-vehicle.
As soon as we have arrived at the beautiful Eibsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria, the new Zugspitz cable car (opened 2017) will take us very close to the highest peak in Germany.
During your stay on the plateau you will learn interesting information about the region's history and its role in World War II - plus you will enjoy a tasty traditional lunch inside the Panorama Lounge 2962!
After our "at the top of Germany" experience, we will have a stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen - the venue of the 1936 Olympic Games. After all we will head back towards Munich - to the agreed starting point or hotel/accommodation!

Your half-day adventure begins in the morning with a convenient pick-up from your Munich accommodation. Step into a comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle, complete with cool drinks and light snacks, and get ready for a scenic journey into the heart of the Bavarian Alps. As we travel south, the mountains gradually rise on the horizon, and the Bavarian countryside reveals its charm — rolling hills, quaint villages, and lush forests setting the perfect stage for your alpine experience. Soon, we reach Grainau, the gateway to Germany’s highest peak, the Zugspitze. Here, your mountain adventure begins, whether you ascend by cable car or explore the surrounding alpine beauty. Panoramic views, snow-capped peaks, and sparkling lakes promise an unforgettable day in the heart of the Alps.

We'll take the cable car shuttle to highest peak in Germany. From the popular viewpoint, the mountain station at 2,943 meters above the roofs of Germany, you will have breathtaking panoramic views of the beautiful Alpine landscape - plus you will enjoy a tasty traditional lunch inside the Panorama Lounge 2962!

Back in the valley and on the way towards Munich, we will make a mandatory stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen - the venue of the 1936 Olympic Games. While walking through the city, you will find plenty of opportunities to buy presents and souvenirs for those who had to stay home.

After an exhilarating day atop the Zugspitze, it’s time to sit back and relax as I drive you comfortably back to Munich. Enjoy the stunning alpine scenery one last time as we descend from the peaks and return to the valley below.
