What to expect

On our way to Salzburg, we will pass Mount Irschenberg, offering one of the most stunning viewpoints you can experience from a German highway. This motorway route was built in the mid-1930s as a "panoramic motorway," and at the time, it was part of National Socialist propaganda, using the beauty of the landscape to symbolize the "German Homeland."
After another breathtaking view, we will pass by Lake Chiemsee, the largest lake in Bavaria.
Upon arrival in Salzburg, you will have 5 hours to explore the city's baroque architecture, breathtaking alpine views, and rich musical heritage. You can wander through the historic Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its charming streets and iconic landmarks like Mozart's birthplace. The impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress, perched high above the city, offers panoramic views and insights into Salzburg's medieval history. A stroll through Mirabell Gardens allows you to enjoy its beautifully maintained flower displays and the famous Pegasus Fountain. The city also showcases its classical music legacy, with opportunities to visit the Salzburg Cathedral and the Mozarteum.
With its mix of history, art, and stunning landscapes, Salzburg is a cultural treasure waiting to be explored.
