The long market building that we see today, designed by Jože Plečnik, where it is possible to get dry-cured meat products, fresh meat, homemade bread, homemade biscuits, various homemade cheeses, dried fruits and nuts, homemade olive and pumpkin seed oil and much more from local farmers.
Butcher’s Bridge became quite famous "love bridge". Not so long after the opening in 2010 people started hanging locks on it, symbolizing declarations of eternal love.
At the center of the square lies the Prešeren Monument, a tribute to Slovenian greatest poet France Prešeren. Today the square is a modern meeting point and a place of happening and people-watching.
The Triple Bridge is a group of three bridges across the Ljubljanica river. . It was at first called in 13th century the Old Bridge. Later in 19th century was replaced by a new bridge and named Franz's Bridge in honor of Archduke Franz Karl of Austria. Jože Plečnik designed the extension of the bridge with two footbridges at each side of it.
