1Marrakech
This Atlas trek from Marrakech starts after hotel pickup and our driver will take you towards the Atlas Mountains.

2Imlil
We reach Imlil. From here we pass through walnut and cherry orchids making our way up the Mizane valley, passing through the village of Aremd, We continue east, crossing the flood plains our route takes us along mule tracks and up into the high rocky cliffs above the valley.

We eventually come to the pastoral shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, which attracts tourists and pilgrims. From here the trail continues to climb steadily, snaking, and zigzagging its way up to the snow line and the Toubkal Refuge (3206m).

Today we wake up to escape from the full power of the sun. Breakfast is served around 5:00 am. We will begin the ascent climb at 5:30 am. In the middle of our climb we will stop for a short break with some refreshments, water, oranges, and nuts. After walking uphill for some 3-4 hour, we will be able to enjoy a picturesque view of all the High Atlas Mountains, valleys, and Berber villages. When reaching the summit, we will have a break of 45 minutes to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent view.

5Imlil
Afterward, we return back to the hut, where the lunch will be waiting us. To get back to Imlil we will follow the same route down the hill.

6Marrakech
